Which reminds me of one of my favorite rhymes of all time from a song by Tom Lehrer...from The Vatican Rag...."you can do any steps you want if you have cleared them with the pontiff." Ahhh. I for one wouldn't want to be pope. I mean the dress is fine but the big hat looks cumbersome....the yarmulke is ok but it would be embarrassing to have so many people going bonkers over you for basically just showing up. When Pope George Ringo... I mean John Paul last came to Los Angeles it was almost 20 years ago and people were still getting excited about it recently. Well he finally got too pooped to pope and he went to that big balcony in the sky. I don't want to tread on anybody's deeply held religious beliefs here....(well, yeah I do, but I don't want to get called on it) but isn't odd to call the pope the Holy Father when he's like, a bachelor. Holy Uncle seems more appropriate.
Wouldn't it be cool if everybody was Pope. Think how much bowing there would be...and ring kissing. Except for the preponderance of white smoke I think it would be a helluva good idea.

Later,

William

Are we there yet?

Well, since I got no comments on my first entry I am assuming that either nobody read it or it was too bland to stimulate reaction. Both are probably true. So this offering will be spicier and even if nobody reads it ......it will be spicier. Thyme goes by more quickly than any nutmeg think possible. Cayenne help it if I'm parsley responsible for the passage of thyme.

There, that was pretty spicy. I have to wrap this up because I need to infuse myself into traffic and chug down to Whittier, not to commune with the memory of R. Milhouse Nixon, but to perform strolling juggling for senior citizens. (Insert favorite senior juggling joke here).
Speaking of seniors, this Sunday Mar 20 will see the reunion of many ex and aging hippies at the Agoura Faire reunion out at the old Ren Faire site at old Paramount Ranch. From 11 AM to 6 PM. Some folks are doing more of a production this year so it will be fun, nostalgic and it's a great way to bring in Spring in that magical valley that nurtured so many creative spirits for so long. So long.

Howdy Folks!!!

Hi, William, here. This is all so new and exciting. I've taken my tin cans and waxed string and traded them in for the information super highway, cyber market place and virtual gypsy caravan. Some of us who grew up in the age of silly putty, hula hoops and rotary phones have been a wee bit slow getting in to the swing of high tech communication and new fangled doo-hickeys. But anyway, here we are. Welcome, have a look around, stay in touch and feel free to feed the animals.
